We have seen some wars where the United States has participated; most of these wars were won by Americans and their allies. Some have the honor of saying I have served in the armed forces and I fought for my country.  They are called “Veterans”. 

 

November 11 is the day when we honor their courage of serving their country in the Military Forces.  It is called Veteran’s Day and we recognize the brave men who have proudly represented their country.

Every year, on this day, there is a parade in honor of all the veterans. The President, Vice-president, and all the members of congress attend this parade as a gesture of gratitude.

Veteran’s Day is a an important day to pay tribute to  the United States veterans.
